Approach

FOR COUPLES LOOKING FOR THAT LITTLE BIT DIFFERENT…

I want you to look back at your wedding photographs for years to come and get the same feelings of joy and love that you will feel on your wedding day.

This is why I strive to capture the moments that really resonate with you, from moments of friendship & beauty to the imperfect moments and ones filled with endless laughter.

I photograph all weddings in the same way, photographs filled with candids, portraits and documentary style images. I believe in photography that is non-posed but intimate.

Shooting weddings for me means shooting on a mixture of 35mm film and digital cameras. The colour and feelings that are produced make for authentic and genuine photographs.

Why Film?

I shoot film to strengthen the feeling and emotion of my photography.

The softness, colour and timelessness of film is unbeaten in the now digital age.

Film is a unique way of capturing the raw emotions of the wedding day. The way the light falls on your subject effects the outcome of the image with film but I use this light and the space to create photographs showcasing the truth and the emotions of each moment.

I use a mixture of 35mm, medium format film and Super 8 film, each supplementing each other along side my digital cameras. You can see my Super 8 portfolio here.
